Project branding
What started as a piece of logo design developed into a broader piece of branding for a research project that was seeking to understand and define what being an ally really looks like. The focus of the project and its outputs was on BME occupational therapists but the message has universal value as well.
Brand re-fresh and website design
Helpful Digital and Social Simulator are platforms that have been developed to help large corporations be prepared for a crisis by setting up simulations to run their teams through the paces. They needed help to bring the brand together visually but without diluting a sense that there was a set of products each with their own capability.
They also needed a new website for Social Simulator as this was fast becoming their core product.
Infographics
One of my favourite projects is to work with NIHR and their various experts helping them to disseminate their research projects. These evaluations are laden with data making them the perfect candidate for infographics.
These offer a way to simplify some of their findings - not to dumb down the data but to surface up the key points of the story each evaluation is telling.
Branding and website
It's always a wake-up call working with charities - I get to shift out of my comfort zone and end up in awe of the people who give so much of themselves to these causes. Needless to say when I was asked to look at some branding for the Carers Hubs in Lewisham I jumped at the chance.
Report branding and more
My company was asked to help produce a report by Public Health England which in-turn led onto branding for the project and its findings. The Academy of Public Health was focussed on the sharing of knowledge across public health practitioners in their words '...a place to make public health everyone’s business, providing training, clear guidance and thought leadership'.
It was the first time I was able to use some of my illustrations in a formal way - which was incredibly exciting for me. you can see more of my illustrations here of you're interested.
Brand re-fresh / website update
I was really excited to be approached by EHRI. They already had an established brand and website but they were both in need of a 'polish up'. Working with teams like this is a joy; they are fully invested in the project and so collaboration sits right at the core of the work which always leads to a better outcome.
Another thing I do is draw ...
In truth drawing is the place I feel most at ease. I worry less about making mistakes and don't feel as though I'm chasing my tail to stay relevant (hello AI!)
There seems to be something that people respond to with my drawings that is different to the design work - maybe like me they can relate more easily to it? I'm not sure but if you think a drawing might be the best way to tell your story then I am definitely up for a chat!
